Our breakout is horrible. Our defense can't move the puck, and the rare time they succeed, our forwards immediately turn it over.

Hextall's moves do not look like a win to me right now.
This is a major issue. The defense, as a whole, is not moving the puck.

And the entire team is hesitating on decisions. There is no crisp ess to their game.

Meh. Sid has these stretches all the time even when he was in his 20s where he just doesn't move his feet and is way too reactionary.

Then he'll put together 10+ games in a row where he's a dog on a bone with the puck and making ridiculous play after ridiculous play.

So much overpaid garbage on this team, it's suffocating.

Bryan Rust and Rickard Rakell for 6 years.

Lotta idiots in here.

Biggest issues right now are the PK which Rakell and Rust have nothing to do with, the top pairing which is largely because of Sullivan forcing Dumo with Letang and the top nine’s commitment to defense.
And the breakout, and the powerplay.

PP will fix itself when Jake comes back. I do not know what will fix the breakout. That's just a team wide problem at this point and the blame rests on everybody.

I am and have been one of Sullivan's backers but if he can't figure that out then the Pens made a huge mistake bringing him back. That has to be better. It's just killing them right now. There's no flow to their game whatsoever.

Well...we suck. I will be skipping tomorrows game after whatever they did tonight.
Jesus, I completely forgot they have a game tomorrow night too. :ha: A half dozen ex penguins, bottom feeder team, and Eberle all add up to another multigoal loss.

After a red hot start it’s going to be sickening seeing them at .500 within a week. I know the season just started but I thought that momentum would take us a little farther than this.

I suppose if one wants to be positive, there is something to having the teams’ shortcomings shown up.

This road trip has certainly accomplished that much.

Oct is a weird month, now teams start slowly changing to where they should be.

Probably would’ve without us losing two top six forwards and our “defensive specialist”.
