The D looked good again. Every game you can see the team figuring things out better and better. Here's the nutty thing -- they still have lots of ceiling left. They are playing far from perfect, but thankfully the goalies are holding down the fort and being damn-near perfect most nights.

Everyone keeps saying it, but it needs to keep being mentioned -- the vibe is great and the players are visibly having a lot of fun. All the players are contributing. Sure is fun to watch this brand of hockey as a fan. Not a boring game so far this season.

That post-game interview with Jake says a lot. Seems like a completely different personality. Never heard him talk so much and be so loose. Dude's confidence must be very high right now. Credit to Monty for setting a positive tone. It has helped more players than just Jake, clearly.

The Big Smoke (unfortunately)
Well that was fun! I'm starting to B-lieve! ☀️

Looks like they're getting their neutral-zone coverage down. Offense hit the ground running but now they've started to tighten-up defensively too. Kind of frightening they are 💀

And all you Sophia fans should've been on my stream where she was fluffing her hair getting ready for Jake's on-cameral interview! 😍
