Caps playing for the clinch and the pens on ANOTHER back to back. We were never going to win this one.

Another thing alot of people forget.

Been playing great teams on the 2nd of a back to back all year.

That takes a toll.

NHL let Barry Trotz make the schedule?

Rust with Sid, as i've said before, just screws everything else up 5on5.
Why i'm only ok with it if Sully dresses his 12 best forwards. ie. no Kuhnackl or Rowney.

And now G-Phil is the new Sid-Rust.

Sheary does way too much stick handling in high chance areas. 2nd or 3rd time he has skated through with the puck and not even attempted a shot.

Malkin gets double teamed on the board, somehow gets the puck out and joins the rush. Hags back pass is off. Sign of the night . . . even when Geno makes 2-3 plays to spring a rush, he doesn't get the puck back.

Pens are terrible 5 on 5. They have been since the trade deadline. I truly don't understand the same lines over and over again.

He turned back into the tweaker version of himself. Just spastic and everything he does is at 3x speed.

Malkin is AWFUL tonight. Caps are absolutely murdering him.

You just blamed Malkin for that sequence. Really. What a joke. He makes a play in his zone while double teamed to get the puck to a guy and then springs out for the rush and gets the puck to Hags. Hags tries a back pass that is a foot off. IF that pass is one, it's a prime chance. So, it's Malkin's fault he does everything on that shift EXCEPT make assume that Hags pass will be a foot off.

That right there explains a lot about your Letang evaluations . . .

They look so slow and lethargic.

Honestly shouldn’t have even played Kessel. Forgot he got hurt last night and missed most of the 3rd. Why even play him when it looks like he’s been hurt for a month now?

Not surprised that we can’t generate offense and Sullivan keeps the same lines.
