edit - why was Faksa the 3rd shot for the shootout; Heiskanen was my call.

I spoke personally with Brett Hull about that goal about a year after it happened. He didn't think it should count but he was glad the officials counted it.

Oh, I’m fine saying it was a bad call. But bad calls happen. It’s why they play seven games. If you don’t want to be in a position to be eliminated in game six by a bad call, don’t get your ass beat in the three of the prior five games.

This is so crazy to me. I’m so surprised Mo didn’t hit over 40 more times than that. I have a feeling Robo gonna do it more than once!!

This is so crazy to me. I’m so surprised Mo didn’t hit over 40 more times than that. I have a feeling Robo gonna do it more than once!!

When Mo did it he scored 50 though, and he had a another year where he was close but he missed some games

I come in peace.... Congrats on the win, seems like both our goalies were the only ones wanting the win. I liked what I saw in Robinson (except the scoring on us part) but congrats on him and his 40.

You have way too high expectations from the Stars "media".
None of them are willing to say anything negative about the team

The answer isn't what I care about, it's that the media puts on their big boy pants and starts asking this coach about his stupid decisions and stop letting everything slide because they are scared.

The "catch them by surprise" comment was specifically about the choice to use Faksa in the shootout. The only way I can try and rationalize what Bowness was trying to say is that he hoped Logan Thompson would have been so surprised and overcome by laughter that some dumb mofo chose Faksa to go next that he'd forget to try and stop the pancake Faksa slow pitched on net from center ice.

While Thompson was overcome with laughter and did in fact forget to try and stop the puck, Bones forgot to tell Faksa not to shoot it at the goalie and explain the goal was in fact to shoot it past the goalie and into the net.
