Oettinger has been on a bad stretch. It doesn’t mean he suck. It probably means this workload is getting to him since he’s never played this much.

You would hope that a team in the playoff drive with less than 10 games in the season would play with some purpose? When was the last time Radulov worked hard 24/7? When was the last time Benn, Faksa, Kiviranta finished a hit? When was the last time Gurianov had a good scoring opportunity?

Oettinger hasn’t faced a playoff team since playing the Oilers on March 22nd.

Since the trade, Oettinger has a pedestrian .905 save %. Wedgewood in that same time is .917 while he’s also faced much tougher competition.
