It's so frustrating that Bowness puts Faksa out there with the top line just for a faceoff, but if you lose that faceoff like they did then by the time Faksa gets off the ice the shift will be basically over and then Robertson comes on for 10 seconds with his line lol. It's not worth the 50/50 chance of the faceoff if it means your best player needs to be benched for it

Not to mention that Faksa changes with the rush meaning it's Hintz and Pavelski alone vs 3 or 4 guys on the forecheck...not gonna happen. That line strives with their neutral zone work but they can't do it with 2 guys

Hi Scheel's mom! Nice to meet you. Your son was actually just benched in the AHL in favor of an undrafted NCAA free agent who didn't even get an ELC. I don't think he'll be the answer this year in the NHL.
