Honestly, as bad as he's been, I wouldn't mind Lavy scratching/benching Talbot for a game or two in favor of McGinn. He looks lost at times, and a benching could light a fire under his ***.

I honestly feel bad for Rinaldo. He hasn't been the maniac we all thought he would be, yet he's still treated that way by the refs. I don't get putting him in over McGinn though. He looks like he could be a solid player. Maybe it's just for the Rangers? Though McGinn ins't really a lightweight himself.

McGinn does not have the reputation and can bring as much toughness as Rinaldo or Sestito while staying out of the box. Plus he is riding high on a wave of positive emotions of his first Nhl callup. He should play.

Talbot hasn't been all that good except in spurts. Maybe him and his buddy Gervais have been partying it up??

Somebody get a copy of this years dry island signatories..:sarcasm:

Falling to 2-5 would not look good. The team had two great efforts before the Tampa game(didn't see it since I was at work), but by the outcome of it, seemed like it wasn't there. 2-5 is not a great hole to fall into, especially with our schedule and divisional play.

I'd rather see McGinn than Rinaldo or Sestito, too. One of them + McGinn would be great.

3-4 looks a hell of a lot better than 2-5.
Feeling like G will have a huge GAME and the defence is going to shut the Rangers down. Time to play 60 minutes fellas.

3-0 or 4-1 Flyers.

Here WE GO FLYERS!!!

Also I wonder if Lavy ever thought to throw Briere along side Giroux and Wayne Train. G and Danny B did play in the DEL together(doesn't count for much) but I think Danny has the type of release that could go well with Claude. Just a thought.

One thing that annoys me to no end about this team, and in years past is FO%. We are in the bottom 5 this year, all though it is early, we struggle every year.

It's not the sole reason our PP and PK have been pretty poor this year, but can explain it somewhat. Losing faceoffs kills TOP, especially on the PK in our zone. We have seen a couple goals off of face off loses.

We really need to find a specialist in this category.

I don't think we've had a squad good at faces since before the lockout... it really is crazy how little the franchise values it. Remember when Lappy (a career winger) was brought in as a "faceoff specialist"? Haha...

When I was typing that post, that actually came across my mind. It is unreal how poor we do in faceoffs considering all we do is draft centers too lol.

I am going to keep track to see how they do tonight, surprisingly, New York is bottom 5 too. We still will get our butt kicked in the circles.

Funny considering we're building down the middle. I know Schenn and Coots we're drafted for being faceoff specialists, but still
