huh that's strange. I would have thought that the mighty Blues should be able to not be completely outplayed at even strength by a team that is in the 8th playoff spot rather they played the night before or not. Those guys might want to refocus their disappointment on their own club.

I said it at the beginning of the thread, this game is one of the most important of the season. There's no more adversity that can be had than having a teammate nearly die in a game, and they overcame.

Except for Phoenix winning.

That being said, a Phoenix win against Florida on the same night as a Dallas win on the road against St. Louis is basically the same as Dallas gaining ground on them. Mike Smith pulled 4 points out of Florida and Tampa for them, we'll see if that goaltending performance holds up against the Boston's and the Los Angeles' of the world.
