I think that one could prove to be a huge ripoff.

Thing is, it could've been good for us no matter what if we'd added to it when it happened. The purpose of making a trade like that is to get better immediately. We didn't do that. We traded for him and then let Radulov and Markov go. Plus we made him our number one center...

I didn't say other wise, but he could be better this year ? Or next year ? Now, he's not going to be better in 2019, 2020 or even 2021.

I don't know. I don't think anything would have changed personally. He was apparently advised to stay in Mtl for summer training but opted to go back to Finland where he went on a bulk. He was terrible this year.
Glad he's in the AHL now though, hopefully they make the POs.

The injury came at the worst time. He was playing so well. Similar to Galchenyuk who finally got the number one role and then got hurt.
