At some point, someone in the Vegas front office should have looked at his contract ... or even his Capfriendly page. I'm not sure Ottawa should be punished for Vegas' incompetence.

I don't know how much you followed it, but they did all these things. Ottawa told Vegas that they never got the NTC submittal, so Vegas has spent the entire year thinking that Dadonov did not have an NTC. The NHL even approved the trade before Dadonov himself had to step in. I know Vegas gets a bad rep, but this one is 100% on Ottawa.

His one timer placement has always sucked, from where he's standing on the ice to where he actually puts the puck. I do not understand why this is a thing that keeps happening.
