Watching Kivlenieks after 2 years of Korpi and Elvis is such a huge change. He seems so calm and technically sound in net. It’s very refreshing. I specifically like how he moves his body as one unit to limit holes, and how his stick is consistently covering the 5 hole as he moves laterally. He could be a great backup next year.

I remember watching him a couple years ago and thinking the same thing, how simple yet effective his game is.
Although I'm a fan of the flashy goalie, I still respect and admire a very 'sound' goalie.
