yeah said they had a candid talk with him this morning and he admitted the room was lost when PLD left and he was never able to get it back
For those of you recording the game the comment/ quote is exactly what was said and can be found between the 17-16 minute mark of period one

Interesting nugget just now on the broadcast. Torts admits he lost the room when PLD left
Makes you wonder if it what Torts did that caused him to leave , or what he did going on radio and blowing PLD up on air that he should be a man and tell his team why ?

Watching Laine it is very clear that he desperately wants to play with speed. He continues to circle back in the neutral zone in order to either take it himself with a full head of steam, or pass it off, get moving, so he can get it back.

He doesn’t play well when the pace of the game is slow and methodical. This might be why he appears lazy because he’s only going at the pace of the puck/play.

We need to get some transition players to play with him. I think Roslovic and Domi are passable but there are certainly better transition players out there.
Roslovic has a problem that he often want to do himself. I prefer to move Laine to Texier, Atkinson to Roslovic.

Grigorenko dumps the puck in and Laine stops skating because he doesn’t want to get hit. He had inside leverage and hustled to be in front but the second Grigorenko dumped it in he stopped skating and let the Tampa defenseman get in front of him and then they get a penalty

Precisely why this guy needs to be traded. No heart.

Tarasov is going to get a game in net for sure if Korpi is hurt, keep him out the rest of the way
I’d love to see what we have in Tarasov
Who knows, if he gets a game or two and does well maybe just maybe the other Russians we have in the system will want to come over sooner and Will think they can do the same here

It hasn't been Korpi's best stretch, but he had a good game tonight. Sucks he gets charged with a goal when he's hurt like that and tried to battle through. Hope it isn't too serious and he recharges during the recovery.
