That first goal was not great for Ritter.
That second, good luck stopping that. I thought he had a good performance. I'm hoping we get that early season Rittich for us this year, as a backup he was dynamite for this team until Smith went down.

He had some great games for us after Smith went down, too. @ Nashville, Boston(OTL but he was amazing), @ Colorado (the SV% lies - he was our best player and the team defense / discipline was awful), Buffalo, and Ottawa. He did have two games he wishes never happened - Florida and @Vegas and one more bad one after Smith's return (@San Jose). He needed more games to stabilize perceptions - he would have been no worse than Gillies was in Dallas, New York, Pittsburgh, and Columbus IMO, which in turn would have raised his SV%. Team got too nervous wih him too soon. Gillies was the one giving up softies.

Rittich was giving up as many nor more softies than Gillies after Smith went down. There is no limit to the crap you spew when you overrate one player and dislike the other is there
