We are not going to win the Cup. We will of course win this series, but we're wasting too much energy for a very long run.

For game 6, play 4on5 for all 60 minutes and put there Winnik and Beagle for the entire time. We have better chances when we have someone in the penalty box

We need bodies in front of the net. We also need to stop dumping the puck in.

All three forwards need to enter the zone at the same time, and get away from the D. We've got to stop dumping the puck in - that's one reason we're always forced to the sides. Setup in the neutral zone, go in fast, force some breakaway opportunities.

If you actually watch the second line it may technically have good possession time, but much of that is being spent trying to get away from the D - not setting up shots properly. This means that, once they've dumped the puck, retrieved it, and spent endless time along the boards, they're not set up correctly or in time and the pass goes wide.

Right now, we're actually playing like the Flyers were - forcing shots on net and playing high energy, but with little offensive strategy or good shot opportunities.

We need a speedy line that's prepared to be dirty - calling 25-83/90-83/90.

If we hadn't humiliated them in game three, maybe they wouldn't have made such effective changes in game four. #frustrating

What % do you guys give the caps of choking with the 3-0 lead?

Odds of flyers winning are +900 right now and the flyers came back from 0-3 6 years ago.

It would take some more miracle bounces and caps playing like they did in games 4 and 5.

I don't think they are choking - they're being strategically outmanoeuvred. The flyers strategy = play solid D that forces the Caps to take poorer shots, capitalise on one or two opportunities and keep it a close game. This is on Trotz to figure out, not the players.

Guys Relax.

This series going 6 isn't all bad. We dominated every single game this series, neuvy has come in a been hot. The only negatives I see are injuries and us losing in 7 (would be very shocking).

But this going 6 means we're on our toes, gives us another game to wrinkle out any rust from us coasting through the regular season. Also I feel like when we get too many days off we start playing sloppy, take the long break from that snow storm for example. If we end this in 6, at least 4 days of rest, which should be a very good amount of times for the bodies to heal.

Negativity should not be associated with these caps.

It's in Philly with a hostile crowd and fired up Flyers team that believes they can come back. The odds of a win are not likely.
