I hate it too but that was so obvious it never should have needed to be reviewed in the first place. Plays like that and the old Duchene offside call where he was offside by about 5 feet is why this rule exists. The plays that take 5+ minutes to figure out are the ones that are frustrating and game killing.

I just think it shouldn't be something a coach can challenge.

If it's an official review, fine. There's no reason someone in Toronto can't take a quick peek at the blueline cam on any goal that's not obviously onside.
