I'm stoked that Green has demoted Guddy and promoted Stecher. This should be one foot out the door for Gudbranson (and Pouliot). No way this pairing stays together the rest of the season. It's already a disaster 5 minutes into the game. Biega will get in soon enough.

Honestly if we can get anything for Gudbranson in a trade we shouldn't scratch him. This team loves scratching guys while we're trying to move them and all it does is gutter their value

No, Burrows had the nerve to - correctly - question the competency and agenda of a referee who completely manufactured calls, and MacLean launched into a complete and unprecedented character assassination of the sort we’ve never seen before or since.

Why has MacLean never done this to Brad Marchand? And do you think he would ever have done it to a Maple Leaf?

Anyhow, that’s only part of it. I can’t stand his smarmy, fake, schmaltzy, name-dropping, appeal-to-Grandmas persona.

Even Don Cherry said Ron didn't like Burrows. It was a hit piece. Maclean didn't even want to believe that Auger told Burrows he was going to "get him back"

Burrows called out Auger, and on the following Hockey Night in Canada McLean conducted his take-down, which was no endless montage, but did include a clip that he narrated, providing an entirely made-up version of what Burrows was saying to the trainer. It seems you're the one with the faulty memory.
