An afternoon game right before the players take off for vacation.... usually, I would be worried about this game.

But this is a different Oilers team we're watching now and hopefully having Perry play his first game will add some energy and extra step in their game. Just need SkinDaddy to stay hot. Sure would be sweet to have a week off on a 16 game winning streak and a chance to tie the league record against Vegas. Do it Oilers.

Be nice to start the break with a 16th win in a row. They are going to have to be really sharp today with total focus. It's not the end of the world if they lose after this great run but I will be very impressed if they get a win today over a desperate pesky nashville team. Hopefully they have a solid game in them before break

Connor Brown hasn’t scored a goal in January in over 4 years,

if he doesn’t score today it’ll take his goalless streak up to at least 684 days. 700 is within reach.

END IT TODAY C B

Was hoping that Brown wouldn’t even be in the lineup. Every forward should be able to chip in offensively even if it’s just a handful of goals. 37 games with nothing to show should be enough to scratch the guy. Not to mention Holloway is looking good and Perry is now on the team.

If Holloway can start performing on the PK like Brown this will probably be an option moving forward as Gagner has produced more given the opportunities compared to Brown.

That’s definitely Browns saving grace right now. I don’t see why Holloway wouldn’t be as effective as he is pretty relentless in terms of putting the pressure on the opposition. Hopefully he is given more and more opportunities on the PK as Brown is a black hole on any line he is placed on and shouldn’t be on the ice 5 on 5.
