They just looked at the score sheet and saw how Holland and McGinn have more icetime than Perlini and that Jooris has more time than Dvorak, Crouse, and Dauphin (and Doan) and just assumed that the Coyotes were playing with a lead.

Maybe if we keep playing Holland and McGinn on the PP they'll score one next season. Keep it up, Tippett. It's eventually gonna work. Just never think about playing skill on the PP.

Not sure how he could possibly think it makes more sense to give Holland those minutes over Dvo. Not only is Holland less skilled, Dvo is the future and could benefit from the experience. There is absolutely no positive for Tippett to that other than playing a clone over a skilled player.

OEL seems to have gotten his swagger back. He was yapping a lot against the jets and he's dangling today. I don't know what clicked or if the short break was what he needed, but he plays his best when he is being flashy and pissing people off.
