After a night of heavy snowfall, a winter snow storm warning was issued for Montreal on Saturday morning.

The warning was lifted just after 1:00 p.m.

In total, 36 centimetres ( 14 inches ) of snow fell on the Montreal area between Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
