I know we did great on faceoffs last game, but I'm sure the Bruins will adjust. No Vitale/Jokinen means I think we'll have faceoff issues again.

Yup. Just another example of bylsmas idiocy or maybe its arrogance. Who knows.

Vitale only took 3 faceoffs last game so that shouldn't be any issue.

It just makes too much sense to change up the top six with the lack of offensive production from them.

DB with his "keep on truckin'" attitude towards KCD is really startin' to piss me off.

Dupuis-Crosby-Bennett
Kunitz-Malkin-Neal

or

Kunitz-Crosby-Bennett
Cooke-Malkin-Neal

I wouldn't even dress Morrow and dress Jokinen or Vitale instead.

DB deserves to be ***** slapped if Sid's line doesn't produce tonight. There's just no excuse for leaving those three together.

You're absolutely right.
Cooke-Malkin-Neal atleast produced some high quality scoring chances.

KCD hasn't done much for almost 11 periods of playoff hockey.

He should've been ***** slapped for that after half of game one. That's all it took to breakup KMN in the prior series, and they actually had a goal.

Either Bylsma is THAT obstinate or Crosby is making the call. I honestly don't know anymore which one would be worse.

But lack of scoring is so technically you're wrong.

Adams has been fine, if the reason we can't score more than 2 goals in 3 games with "the most offensively stacked team in 2 decades" is because we have a PK specialist on line 4 then we're doomed anyway.

The only thing that isn't embarrassing about Cooke on Malkin's LW is that it was Iginla.

I believe it extends to the Ottawa series too. How many points does that line have at even strength since being reunited? Actually how many points does that line have all playoffs?

Adams is fine. Jokinen or Vitale would be better in every single way. And if you think the 4th line doesn't matter in the playoffs you must not have been a fan of hockey for very long.

Mark ****ing Eaton back in the line-up and playing with Letang to boot. Eaton is not good enough to play the type of minutes he'll play partnered with Letang. Why not set Despres loose? There's nothing to lose here. If DB does stick around, pretty much guarantees there's no way Dumoulin or Harrington see any time with the team next under any circumstance.

Look forward to Iginla being a non-factor again tonight. Cannot believe how poor he's looked in every facet of the game. Tired of the apologists as well, playing on the other side of the ice doesn't make you fumble passes and unable to move the puck, lose every board battle, etc. His play has been without a doubt the most disappointing trade acquisition I can remember. Take away his name and history and no one would argue for him to be in the line-up at this point. He's bringing nothing to the table as DB won't use him on the top PP.

I wanna hope there's a 4-game win streak in there but I'll be surprised if they score more than 1-2 goals tonight. So unless Vokoun gets a shutout, I imagine they'll lose, must be how Lundqvist feels every game.

You're really going out of a limb with that one.

Yeah, pretty sad it's come to this. I either hope they lose tonight or win the series. Being part of an embarrassing sweep is the only thing that has a chance to bring about change. Winning a game or two might be just enough to justify not doing anything of importance in the off-season.

I'd say poppycock, but unfortunately there's a precedent for that.
