I'm sure AV will do the right thing and start Schneider on Friday, right?

...Right?

I'm also worried about a surprise return from Andrew Ebbett.

Schroeder got 15 minutes today.

I think AV has faith in him.

Av also spoke quite highly of Schroeder post game.

I hope the Kassian train continues on its path of death and destruction.

The next three games could be interesting for Kass. On the road in 3 tough buildings vs big teams.

Not in this game.

AV "I liked Jordan for his first game. He skated well when he had the puck on the power play - gave us a few different looks."

It's been pretty clear from camp to now that AV and MG have liked Schroeder over Ebbett. The only reason Schroeder was re-assigned and then recalled was due to waiver eligibility.

Schroeder will be in the lineup tomorrow night, and deservedly so. Hopefully he can build on his solid debut.

I would also bet Schneider gets the start. If I had to guess this weekend, I would say: Schneider tomorrow, Luongo on Sunday, Schneider on Monday.

First road trip of the season will hopefully help the team focus on the basics. I feel like a few of the guys are squeezing their sticks a bit in trying to shake off the rust.

Would be nice to get a measure of retribution against Anaheim for Game 1, though. And for God's sake - someone keep an eye on Selanne (and Winnik, I suppose)

Some career numbers vs. Anaheim...

Jannik Hansen - 15GP, 3G, 8A, 11Pts
Daniel Sedin - 43GP, 16G, 21A, 37Pts
Henrik Sedin - 45GP, 7G, 26A, 33Pts

Of course, none of that is as frightening as Selanne's numbers against the Canucks.

Teemu Selanne - 73GP, 40G, 48A, 88Pts
