I feel like only Green was mediocre tonight, they all played very well and they just kept the pressure on unlike Anaheim completely snuffing out the game there in the third. Impressive opening to the season, I still don't really think it will keep up, but good on them.

They are playing such a simple game and just funneling everything to the net or deep corner. It allows them to use their size, they were excellent tonight.

Guys like Helm/Glendog/Abby couldn't score in a women's prison with a handful of pardons.

This didn't age well.

So many Habs fans thought they'd steamroll the Wings tonight. They cannot keep pucks out of the net.

Great road win. It's been a rough go there as of late. Nice to see a good result.

If we can erase Tuesday, boys, we're still undefeated.

That was honestly one of DK's best games as a Wings player.

Atta boy DDK. I feel like his contributions were underrated last year, feel like while he isn't quite worth his contract, it certainly isn't an albatross deal he plays simple and well.

I wouldn't mind trying that against Toronto. If Svech isn't going down for the GR game on Saturday then he needs a game.

Agree, I like Ehn but maybe give Svech a run out with that line now.

- bertuzzi allstar canidate , tenacious with very high hockey iq . makes more unstatable but important plays than ANYBODY
- loving the new skinny abs , with the extra step hes doing more
- doc blash has this teams ear
- danny dekes looks realgud with hronek
- get that 8x8 on paper
- glenny is playing great , another high hockey iq , and should be on 2 permanently with aa
- ehn doing his job

What if we're still in the playoff picture (7th to 10th in the Conference - either a few pts in, or a few pts out) come late Jan - early Feb?

Does Yzerman swing some deal/s to improve our chances?

I feel like this game was from an alternate reality we weren't supposed to see in which all of our vets actually play up to their contracts.
