I hope this game got a lot of viewers in Canada with the early start time. The system and the mentality of VGK is just so damn good for the league. An expansion team could very easily have come in and said let's ride our goalie and prevent goals to win, park the bus and set up the trap. Frankly its all most teams without a lot of proven talent could do. But they went a total 180 from that and said just go full throttle all the time, cause mistakes by the other team and jump on top of them when the opportunity is there. Doing all this in such a positive way cannot be overlooked, if more teams embraced the attacking style the NHL would have a more attractive product all around.

Congrats to Subban and VGK. They are number four among all goalies in goals against. This says something about their aggressive D-scheme and Subban's solid play.

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on Karlsson as your long term top Center?
I'm nervous to make any calls on long term anything. At this point, I'm willing to just trust GMGM and AGMKM and I'll try not to get too excited or angry with what they do.

Another night where I couldn't post on my iPad or iPhone, so I apologize for my lack of in-arena posting.

Leafs fans are pretty cool in real life, nicest visiting group so far.

A few of my coworkers (Toronto) were at the game yesterday...they said it was the best in game hockey experience they ever had. The only way the ACC could generate that kind of buzz/atmosphere would be for a Cup final game. They texted me during/after the game about how cool it was. I'm onboard and am making plans to get there sometime in late February/March for a game.

What an impressive 1st. season. hopefully it continues well into the playoffs.

Glad they had a good time. I thought the crowd was pretty tame for the most part last night due to the early lead.

Then again, I think I might just have a quiet section since a lot of the great/loud games seemed quieter than some of the earlier less loud games (according to most) in my area.

I was not posting during the game yesterday not because of the ongoing board issues, but because...wait for it...I was at the game!

Only my second game so far this season, but I'm now 2-0 (first game was OT win vs. Buffalo in October) so you know what that means...everyone send me your tickets! LOL

Have to say The Park was literally swarming with blue and white pregame. (I still think they should be called the Maple Leaves. LOL)
