Not convinced Lu will be here after the trade deadline. Just my impression based on the interview Gillis gave on 1040 and the rumours that Luongo talks have heated up a little.

Burrows with a stupid penalty that could have cost the team but thankfully didn't.

Wouldn't mind he spent some time on the 4th line for abit.

Too bad there's no one that could take his spot with the Sedins ATM.

Possibly costly win, Hansen had a couple shift after that Garrison shot went off his foot but didn't look good. Tanev obviously got wrecked on that boarding from Penner. Can't afford to lose anyone right now, possibly AHLberts, although he had a couple nice hits

Overall, solid win

Schneider had his moments but the Canucks only gave up 20 shots on net. Overall team game, defensive team game and puck support has been frickin' great the last few games. This is how they'll start to come back to dominance:

a) Team defensive game comes back
b) Golaies get back on track and confident because of (a) (feed each other really)
c) Special teams starts cranking (PK better, PP needs to get there)
d) Offense starts to come
e) Injured players get back
f) Team gels

= ready for the playoffs.

Anyways, my biggest fear was that the Raymond/Schroeder/Hansen line would get dominated by the Penner/Richards/Carter line. I was very impressed

Probably should have won that SO loss too.

Not afraid of that team in he slightest. Chicago and Anaheim are so much better than them
