Toronto wins its Cup. Against a borderline AHL roster. Good for them! They are vastly overhyped even without Matthews.

Bruins did decent, played pretty well. Losing Miller again is terrible with the ice time he was logging.

That goalie pull decision is just abysmal and that needs to be re-evaluated for next time.

Yeah the goalie pull was f***ing stupid.

They were creating chances without pulling him. Taking that kind of risk with so much time left when you are already creating chances is foolishness IMO

Cool story, you’re forgetting Leafs can also run Tavares down the middle too now. Depth will overwhelm Boston in a 7 game series this time around. This was nowhere near a perfect game from the Leafs, we played at about a 4/10 yet still won so..

Meh. JVR gave the Bruins a lot of trouble, glad to see him gone. Bozak was better than Matthews in the playoffs (which isn't saying much). Leafs fans are defensive, unfortunately the Leafs can't play defense.

Not really upset, they looked really tired. Forth game in 6 nights and 3rd on the road with an a second tier squad. Some good things, like Clifton, Cave and Pasta finally, Moore again rising in a leadership role. I expected more out of Bjork, wish he was never taken out of the lineup, looks like he lost some mojo. I would really like to see what Hughes and Senyshyn can do out there.

Their PK is lousy and they need a couple of top end defensemen.

Still have no idea how Babcock coached teams get away with so much stickwork and interference.

PK's been great the last bunch of games. Wagner lost an edge and two young D on the back end got a bit lost.

Played more than good enough to win, the difference was one bad penalty in the first.

Leafs weren't impressive at all, looks like their defenders strategy is to pray Andersen plays like Hasek.
Their defense clogs the middle of the ice to try to push the opposing team and shots to the perimeter then hope any shots on net either get deflected to the perimeter so they can pass it to a winger with speed to carry it out or stopped by Andersen.

I don't think it was a coincidence the Bruins dominated most of the 2nd period when they started getting pucks down low and made Toronto's defense do some work.
