I agree here. I thought it would have been best if he started the season in the AHL to get going after coming back from his injury. He's definitely fighting it out there.
Why do Leaf fans think they’re welcome here? Go away
Toronto wins its Cup. Against a borderline AHL roster. Good for them! They are vastly overhyped even without Matthews.
Bruins did decent, played pretty well. Losing Miller again is terrible with the ice time he was logging.
That goalie pull decision is just abysmal and that needs to be re-evaluated for next time.
Cool story, you’re forgetting Leafs can also run Tavares down the middle too now. Depth will overwhelm Boston in a 7 game series this time around. This was nowhere near a perfect game from the Leafs, we played at about a 4/10 yet still won so..
You do realize neither of those guys significantly improves that defense, right? You do realize you’re watching the Leafs without Mathews and Nylander right? Yet we’re still 17-8-0..those 2 are just as big of losses as Chara and Bergeron.
Refs called a good game. That's right one more powerplay and it might have been tied game. What I want to know is: Who from boston sleeps with the refs?
They have to infect every thread they can on this entire site. Most insecure fan base I’ve ever seen in my life. Christ it’s really pathetic
Old? Really? You hit the dispensary today?bruins old and slow, leafs looked like they were disinterested
Refs called a good game.
Their PK is lousy and they need a couple of top end defensemen.
Still have no idea how Babcock coached teams get away with so much stickwork and interference.
that doesn't sound... good...Kevan Miller will spend the night in a Toronto hospital for observation

Their defense clogs the middle of the ice to try to push the opposing team and shots to the perimeter then hope any shots on net either get deflected to the perimeter so they can pass it to a winger with speed to carry it out or stopped by Andersen.Played more than good enough to win, the difference was one bad penalty in the first.
Leafs weren't impressive at all, looks like their defenders strategy is to pray Andersen plays like Hasek.
Defense? Why should they start caring about defense now?You do realize neither of those guys significantly improves that defense, right?
