Awful. I was defending Price because the year where the Habs were bottom 5 in the league he lost his best dman and had only one top 4 dman in front of him. That carried over in the beginning of last season so he struggled as well. He was dynamite when Weber came back and had 2 top 4 dmen(still a terrible defense). Now? There are no valid excuses. He has been insanely inconsistent.

Price as never been an example of consistency... he had 1 great season and 2 good seasons... he had a lot of injuries in the peak of his career.

Plus... an elite goalie in the league should be able to compensate for a poor defence. He never was able to do that.

When you think about it. His better season were in a system that was based on making the goalie look good where nobody takes chances and perimeter shot are permited.

Even Theodore looked like a god goalie with the same system in play.
