Probably not a popular opinion here but did not like Freddy going after Ovi the way he did.

This board would erupt if some rookie chased Bergeron around like that all night.

Freddy needs to stick to the Wilson and Lemieux of the league.

Not saying dont be physical with Ovi but the extra was not warranted that night and the stick between grapes was best case for Freddy IMO

It's a good point. If we want Bergeron, Krejci and Pasta to avoid this kind of stuff we need to make sure Frederic knows his boundaries.

You know what I'd like to see more than Frederic fighting Wilson? Frederic scoring a goal. Goals win games.

He's got two in his last five


Someone on the caps will give him the opportunity early, and he'll use it to chirp Ovi every chance he gets.

I'm normally a pretty positive fan, but I do not understand how Jake Debrusk is in the lineup after so many games of complete ineffectiveness. His best attribute is scoring and he has 1 goal. He doesn't really bring anything else, so why is he in there?

I personally think what both players did was okay......if Washington has a problem with it, then Chara or Wilson can easily address it.

People forget, but Pasta would always get slashed or roughed up and no one came to his defense last year. It's nice to see us take shots at the opposing teams best players instead of them doing it to us.

oh man yeah they were bad. Then there were the years where they seemed to have pretty consistently good players but just couldn`t find a way to go deep in the playoffs, likened them a bit to the B`s in that they`d add a player say at the deadline, but it was simply not the right player meanwhile had some nice talent on the roster, used to really like Bobby Carpenter, man the years when they had Kevin Hatcher and Langway were fun

The expansion teams got the worst of the worst back theN. Not like today
