What is that tower thing in front of the stadium? I'd love to go see a game in Nashville. The girlfriend and I had plans to before the whole lockout garbage.

For a prediction, I'll go with 2-1 Blues in OT. We can't play the Preds and not have a close game. Pekka always brings his "A" Game against us too. Both goals by Perron. Kostitsyn gets the Preds goal. People on the main board call Tarasenko a bust because he doesn't record a point.

Got a feeling Nashville's D will be better prepared to take us on than Detroit's was. Plus they'll get great help from their fans. Rinne always seems to find a way to shut the door on us as well.

Still, if we can keep up the tempo from last game, keep the puck out of our d-zone w/ good fast passes, and if Halak has another solid game, we should at least be able to get a point out of this game.

I say 2-2, goals from Bulan (PP) and Shatty.

Halak for sure the starter?
Yep per Hitchcock. Then Elliott Tuesday.

Should be another great game between these two teams... I mean this will be a much bigger test than Saturday night so it will be interesting to see how we respond vs. a faster, hungrier, better defensive team.

I'm excited for this game. Let's see if Tarasenko can fill in our issues with away games as well. The first game was amazing, but it was against a broken team. Nashville will be a bigger challenge for sure.

I can't wait for Tuesday either. Back to back games can be tough, but it will be a good test at the start of the season. Plus more Blues hockey!

I'm a little sick but I'll try to get up to see this. Definitely not going to be a same kind of a blowout the last game was but this should be winnable. I'll say 2-1 for us.

Nashville may have lost Suter but this Roman Josi kid who replaces him is gonna be good. Nashville and Chicago will be the main rivals for the division title this year. Big week this early in the season with three games in four days against them.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Tarasenko plays when the entire stadium isn't on his side lol.

EDIT: We need Oshie, Stewart, and Tarasenko to have big games again. Left wingers are held in check by Weber most of the time.

This should be a really good game. I am interested to see how the guys rebound on the road. Keeping the momentum from game to game will be so important this year and as stated above, these guys along with Chicago look to be our major divisional competition.

Lets take it to em and have a great game. It would be nice to drop this thing where Rinne has our number.

GO BLUES!!!

Yeah I agree that after seeing Detroit I think Nashville and Chicago will be our main competition this year. Hopefully our guys will just bury our chances like we did the first game and halak will be a brick wall for us. Lets go Blues!!!

Nashville didn't look so great in their last game, but I expect them to be ready for tonight. Hopefully the good guys get in front early and shut it down to save energy.

Hope we can keep up the momentum. Looking forward to the game. Nervous about Chicago. Not sure what to expect with Nashville, expecting a tight game. Rinne always seems to be our worst enemy. Let's Go Blues!

Not sure how I feel about Elliot getting the start vs Chicago. Hopefully we'll dominate them like we did the Wings and it won't matter.

I approve of your use of macros, Easton. /)

The match-ups tonight will be heavily in our favor, and the Blues looked a lot more crisp in their passes than what Nashville did...if we can get our transition game going early, the only thing left to solve will be Rinne.

...hopefully Win or Loss, we'll conserve enough energy to use up on Chicago. To me, that's the more important game. Kill their momentum.

Just realized that Nashville have a 7 game road trip coming up after this game. And since they lost their first game this is basically a must win for them. 2 losses and then going on a 7 game road trip with this seasons condensed schedule -- that sure would be tough for them.

Go get 'em boys!

meh, not the time of the season to look at more or less important games. just go out and compete for the w, against every one!

2-1 Blues victory. I think Rinne keeps them close as he is so damn good against us.

Backes and Tarasenko score.

EDIT: Same lineup tonight
