He was on the ice kind of in a scrum during the play behind the net, and a Detroit player fell on him going in for a hit. The Detroit players elbow hit him in the head, and he was still until the medical crew was there.

As per the thread on the main board, Larry Murphy reported on the Wings channel that the trainer told him that Anisimov was alert and moving his extremities after they got him into the ambulance. Good to hear.

At 4.25mil for the next 5 years, if JVR keeps this up, he could be a real steal not just from a trade point of view but from a cap space one too.

If he can stay healthy no doubt his cap hit will be a steal. The way he has been playing he is a 5m+ player easy. And it's scary to think that he is still only 23 and can improve.
