I only caught the end of the game so I think I can gather 2 things.

1. Korpisalo sucked bad tonight.
2. Panarin’s shootout attempt was so bad I could almost accuse him of trying to throw the game.

Crazy game. At one point I’d have been happy with one point. And then, anything but two disappoints me.

2. Panarin’s shootout attempt was so bad I could almost accuse him of trying to throw the game.

Trying to help his future team in the standings. He's getting on my nerve lately with his effort. What is this - 7 games without a goal?

Dont see what others see with Panarins shootout attempt. Could have deked but clearly there was room and just missed his shot.

As for Korpisalo... hes bad

15-3 shots in the 3rd/OT in favor of the Jackets and the Rangers get 2 points.

There isn’t 1 positive to take away at all from this game.

Wennberg loses all goodwill with his goal by missing a wide open shot in OT by 15 feet.

I'm not going to judge a goalie on goals against numbers when the shots against are high quality like that. The defensive commitment just lagged hard in the first two periods. We gave up odd man rushes like it was October. The goals against were on sloppy turnovers by Bjorkstrand and Atkinson, and soft coverage plays by Wennberg and Savard (I don't think he saw his man).

I will however say Korpi was swimming out there. And in the shootout he was just bad.

I knew this post was coming. You defend every goal he gives up but are pretty quick to blame Bob for every one he gives up.

Every goal in the Shootout! He stood like a statue on the first goal in the SO. During reg. if he had an active stick in the crease he could have prevented just about every goal.

Goals 1 & 3 maybe. .. though those are not plays goalies are counted on to make. 2 & 4 were not going to be stopped with a stick.
