He must have scouted him while he was centering Pastrnak & Marchand. Doh! Jackets don't have a Pastrnak/Marchand combo to match him with.

Korpisalo is back to being a below average backup

Korpi doesn't seem like has the best positioning

Goal 2 is the only goal he can be given "any" blame.

It would have been nice for him to have stopped 1 of the others, but it shouldn't be expected or held against him that he didn't.

You have to get out of that period up by one, inexcusable.

He was left out to dry on the first and third Rangers goals. He should have had the 2nd and fourth. That’s bad goaltending. Although the defense wasn’t great itself on any of the goals, but my goodness, make a save.

Goal 2 I will give you. He was quite slow to react to the pass.

But, what do you want him to do with goal 4? Spin pass from behind the net, off a d man skate across the entire slot, right to a NYR player in between 3 CBJ players, a few feet from the net.

But from here it looks like they're just not trying hard defensively, and Korpi is taking the fall. Up 4-3 and they give up 3 odd man rushes in a row! They weren't giving up 3 odd-mans a game in the previous two games.

Now I’ll take Korpi over McB, but the numbers hopefully will improve.
