No Chara, No Krejci, No Rask so if the Leafs can't win tonight then there are some serious issues.

There better not be any egg laying.

Rask should be in net tonight - he isn't at practice which usually indicates he is playing.

I don't know if y'all have seen the video of the little guy giving fistbumps to the Bruins as they leave the ice, but it's quite a nice video. Anyway, Dougie's the only guy who blows him off, the jerk. Hope at least one Leaf pancakes him tonight, he deserves it.

I've seen it and Dougie fist bumps him like everybody else.

Well, they have already faced the Bruins sans Chara.....and that was an osterich sized egg.

Our Leafs are still relying on the waiver wire claim process to improve their team roster so we can't take anything for granted.

However you have to hope :crossfing that Leafs come out and take the 2 points tonight, taking advantage of the situation being provided.

I'm guessing they aren't.

Actually, Reimers numbers are far superior after checking the stats (it was bugging me).

Reimer -- REGULAR SEASON - CAREER: VS BOS 12GP 5W 5L 1OT .921 S% 2.64GAA

Bernier -- REGULAR SEASON - CAREER: VS BOS 5GP 1W 3L 0 OTL .876 S% 4.48GAA

I just don't want Carlyle tainting any more of our young guys.

The way that he consistently buries young players to overplay his veterans is terrible.

Not saying we would win the East or anything, but I feel we'd be a much better team rolling four lines every night. Also get to see what we have in the kids (ie: Colborne) before we lose them for nothing

Never would have guessed.

Small sample size.
Likely random.

Random? No, but it is a smaller sample size compared to Reimer but a 4.48 GAA in 5 games against Boston is very bad. That's why I said earlier that we need Bernier to have a strong game against Boston.

Consider also that Reimer had a far worst lineup infront of him when he played Boston over the last couple years, yikes.

No, he's trying to say McDavid is ruined....so we might as well go all in this year and trade our 1st for help now!;):sarcasm:

or .... I'm saying the guy scores like Crosby and fights too ! ... and we should tank for him.

(Just kidding).

Lighten up. It's a pre-game GDT.
MEH.

I'm light. It's not unreasonable to expect threads to stay on topic.

Why do you think this is the best place for it? I'm sure it's already been discussed somewhere else since last night, it's hardly breaking news.
