Mac had three drives that if he was wearing a Brady jersey you would have thought he came out of retirement but besides those 3 drives i thought he sucked. Lucky to not have 3 interceptions on the day, he still can't throw to the sideline consistently, still putting balls that are going to be contested catches closer to the defenders instead of away from them, took a sack in the final two drives that were killers and just didn't get it done when he had a chance to win a game again. He had a game that qbs like Derek Carr have a few times a season.
The difference between last season and this one is that Bill O'Brien is a good offensive coordinator and the offense is going to run a lot better because of him despite the qb and wr talent being near the bottom of the league for both positions. The defense was great though and like last season will win them 4 or 5 games, holding an offense like the Eagles to 12 points on drives that didn't start after a turnover is elite and they should be 1-0 because of the defense.
