last 5 starts: 5-0-0 record, faced 172 shots, 34.4 shots per game, .930 sv%.
- January: 6-2-1 record, faced 306 shots, 34 shots per game, .929 sv% with 2.30 gaa

Shouldn't those numbers give him the rookie of the month award?.

for the team that was 30th or 31st going into January....he's not exactly playing on the Lightning.

was at the game last night, thought he looked fantastic; Bruins didn't have as many shots as Philly, but they had a lot from what looked like good angles and he stopped them.

If Hart can some how magically get the Flyers into the Playoffs this year, and post up 20+ wins while maintaining/improving his numbers a bit, I think he is definitely a consideration for Calder (doesn't mean he will win it, but he should definitely be a top3 nomination). Taking a team that was dead last, to a playoff spot, as a 20 year old rookie goalie? That is still a steep hill they have to climb but nothing is impossible at this point.

The Flyers have won 6 in a row and are still 9 points from a wild card spot with 31 games to go....they would have to continue to go on an absolutely sick run to make it. Sure, if the Flyers make it there's no doubt he takes the Calder. Too little, too late unfortunately...the Flyers will certainly be on everyone's dark horse list for next year though.

I think his career will be better than Price and up there with at least Rinne, Lundqvist, Luongo, and Quick.

The flyers we're underachieving big time though, they were bound to bounce back. Hart is very impressive though. Very interesting to see if he can take some votes from Pettersson these next few months.

As much as I am enjoying Carter, there is no one touching Pettersson this year......it would have been interesting though if Carter had started the season with the Flyers....

Even though he let in 4 goals, he had a good game, yes that Larsson goal was a bit so and so
however...Larsson should of never been alone against Hart in that situation, piss poor defending.

Nothing was to be done in that 2-0 situation, never you should allow 2 forwards against your goalie,
that was god awful defending, McDavid goal...perfect play, perfect shot, what can you do, he is good
- that Kassian shorty, breakaways are always a bit of lottery for goalies, so,..yeah.

Philly looks to have finally solved their goaltending problem and what do you know, they start putting wins together
