What’s the scouting report in Fucale these days. Obviously not 2021 ready but curious if he projects as an eventual 2G

He's 26. Getting any NHL value out of him at this point would be a nice turnaround for his career. I like him more than Copley, but I wouldn't want either as our back-up.

Copely is a known asset....and....he can't stand in as a #1 goalie in the NHL should Samsonov fail. Not in any universe.

Copley isn't young. Dude is 29. We know what he is at this point, an average-ish AHL starter who can pinch hit as an NHL back-up if you have a workhorse #1. Samsonov has never played more than 37 games in a season. I'm not about to trust Copley to start 35 games for the Capitals
