That made me crack up. Hopefully his outcome is better than Oberyn's

Welp for some reason I put it as he was born today.
One of those days
Ah, ok. Either way, the Flyers are money with the Q when most of the rest of the league sucks in that province.
The last 10 picks for the Flyers out of the QMJHL:
NAK
Morin
Couturier
Chaput
Tye McGinn
Nicola Riopel
David Labrecque
MAB
Kevin Marshall
Claude Giroux
That's pretty damn good, lol. Obviously, this guy still has a long way to go to reach the NHL, but I'll trust the Flyers if they have a good feeling about a guy in that league.
Eh, I don't know that I would call that pretty good without seeing their accuracy from other leagues. From that list there are two regular NHLers. Granted some are looking good moving forward, and others had injury problems. What were their last 10 picks from the OHL out of curiosity, because this list doesn't impress me all that much.

I have season tickets for the Armada, so I saw Martel more than 100 game the last 3 years, and i'm upset the habs didn't sign him. Joel Bouchard develop his players extremely well in the 4 years the Armada exist. Xavier Ouellet with Detroit, Cedric Paquette with Tampa Bay, and i'm pretty sure Daniel Walcott will play in defence for NYR in the next 3-4 years.
As of Danick Martel, he is the most exciting player in the Q along with Nikolaj Ehlers. These two are also the fastest skater, Ehlers is more fluid, but Martel acceleteration from point A to point B is the best in the league (by far). I've read earlier today that flyers insider think he is a B+ skater, but for me he is A+. Oh and I forgot to add Duclair to the list, I think that Duclair and Martel speed are similar. Martel also has a great wrist shot, great hockey sense/IQ, north-south type of player, but ofc he is small and fragile (he go down very easily). He reminds me of Thomas Plekanec and Martin St-Louis a little bit style wise. He is also very smart near the net, great instinct to score goals.
And no, Martel can't fight, yeah maybe 2-3 time a year, but he is not a physical guy, not his style. It's too bad that he is so fragile, he is not physicaly strong, that's his man problem. But really, he is so quick, it's crazy, he beat good defensement one on one like they have Hal Gill type of speed. And also, he improved madly every year, and he seem to get faster every month, is that even possible?
Speed-Speed-Speed, crazy speed, faster than Duclair, who is a amazing skater (imo). His speed along will make him be a point per game player in the AHL, but the NHL is another story, guy are much tougher there, much more physical, this is gonna be the challenge for him.
Low Risk, High Reward, he will never be a 4th line player, either top 2 line or bust. I'm really upset again that the canadiens didn't sign him, he is so exciting to watch.
Sorry for my english, i'm french canadian.
If Simon Nolet told Hexy to sign him, I'm gonna trust it.

Quick thoughts from QMJHL scout Jerome Berube, "Quebec Head Scout for @ScoutingService, covering QMJHL & NHL draft."
