I'd do Allen for RyJo, 1 for 1

Philadelphia gains capspace, Montréal gains a lottery ticket

We in Montreal will take him. Depending on what we send back

Montreal probably has enough veteran centers for next season to occupy roster spots. And its hard to imagine the Flyers paying to move him.

Feels more like the Flyers will see what value Johansen has at double retention (AAV of 2 mil for a season). Feels like someone would take a chance on him in that situation.

This guy just can’t skate well enough to be an NHL player. He’s got the size. The shot. The dangles, the shifty game. But too slow.

Is this guy really so bad that no one would take him at 2M?

Retention, contract swaps, and clearing now means he's waiver exempt and can be sent down for the next 30 days.
Alright that make sense

Thanks for the clarification. The guy doesn't seem to have positive value these days hence why i was saying that.
