You'll get a bunch of different answers for this question. I drafted Cossa because I think the Canes could use a top goalie prospect, but later in the draft I will be looking at lists and taking BPA.

BPA, always. I don't like to draft for need. My personal take is that you always take the best player and worry about needs later.

I just go with BPA, straight down my list. I'm drafting for New Jersey and in real life, there is a slim chance the Devils pass on Luke Hughes (Jack connection) and Owen Power (the favorite for 1st overall) if both players are still available at 4 - especially for a goalie, which is the direction I went. No goalie has been drafted as high as fourth since MAF went first overall in 2003, but Wallstedt was my BPA, so that's who I went with.
