Y’all remember in March 2018 we had some pretty terrible goaltending too from a #70. So bad many said he was washed up and cheered when his 2 got the start in the playoffs. Almost feels like you don’t really know what you have until it’s actually the playoffs...

Except Holtby already had a very good playoff track record at that time. This tandem has nothing like that to fall back on.

I don’t think anybody is denying that. The playoffs are a crapshoot and goalies can get hot. But objectively speaking, throughout 50 games which is a pretty nice sample, our goalies are at the bottom of the league in almost every stat. I hope that changes.

shots are about even, pens convert their chances without problems tho... 2 breakaways 2 goals and jerry made 1-2 hero safes so far.

it's crucial to get a hot goalie before the playoffs. I don't think our goalies will go hot, they are too young, too little games played. Too little games left. Gosh I hope I'm wrong.
