Probably not. Flames really need to start going after a 1B guy at least with what we've seen. Clearly management should've been more concerned during training camp, because man Smith is losing it.

The problem is there is not much he could do.

There wasn’t any decent goalies available this off-season that he could get.

The real mess up was getting Smith instead of Fleury or Bishop.

There were a bunch of 1B guys to go after as a backup option like Lehtonen and the crazy guy (forgetting his name right now). Hell, we could've gotten Pickard off wavers. Our fall back is Rittich and Gillies right now, and boy that kinda scares me.
