It is crazy the amount of people who undervalue Zucc. A consistent 50-60+ top 6 winger but he is not worth a 1st? OK then.

Rangers will get a 1st+ so if Flames dont want to stump up a 1st rounder or top prospect then they wont get him.

Zucc easily gets a 1st. People really under value his defensive play along with his play making ability. Also has an edge. He's always in the middle of the scrum. I've been saying this for a while, but it makes more sense for NYR to keep him. They don't have any other quality play makers besides Hayes and he can't even make the plays Zucc makes.

I think the only one in the organization that could make phenomenal passes will be Kravtsov. Zibanejad is in a league of his own....

Everyone wants a first. Hopefully the flames don't bite considering the number of rentals. If rangers want a first, so be it, but it wouldn't be a good choice for our organization.

Stone is the best RW going into the TDL. Zucc is 2nd. Better than Simmonds, althought he has the power and strength, Zucc has the speed, skill and puck ability. It will be a very interesting TDL and NYR will only sell to the highest bidder. Thats why it will go down to the wire.

Hell No. Zucc is a superior player to Kane. The only thing Kane has over Zucc is that he is younger.

Which is why we should keep our 1st? I don't know your definition of bottom half, but the Flames not having a 2nd rounder already makes it difficult enough to get a player in the top 62 if we do not have our 1st round pick.

I thought he was a left hand shot?? Or maybe I'm wrong.
Anyways... not a big fan of this trade.... if it happens. Would prefer to get some size and grit going into the playoffs even if its a rental. Would be a huge fan of getting Ferland even if it did cost the Flames their 1st. Btw, the Canes have two 2nd round pics this year so maybe the Flames could get one of those in a package deal for Ferland?
