Well, we‘re rapidly approaching Trade Deadline and this Game appears to be a tipping point whether our Management decide to be Sellers or Buyers (Perhaps a bit of both?)
As a result, we are a somewhat torn Fanbase on which direction to commit. IMHO, there are good cases to be made either way. I still maintain that I just want to see the team compete hard and players to progress in their development.
So, I’m revising a parody I wrote back in the winter of 2020 when we were in a similar position and we were disagreeing on the plan to take. Please note that even if I do not agree with the extreme opinions, I really appreciate the passion of our Board & respect your willingness to express it here.

And they're quite convinced they're right
They say the playoffs are just too lofty
Let’s sell to make our future bright
But the Winners can't help their feelings

And they wonder how the Tankers
Can be so happy throwing shade?
There is tension on the Canucks Board
Mods monitoring game day threads
As Pro-Tankers scream “We told you so!”
And Pro-Winners, just shake their heads
So Pro-Tankers formed their own Thread
Where complaining is in the right
'Pro-Winners are just delusional
But they never were too bright!’
Now there's finally a game to watch today
Hopefully we can avoid pointing blame
Tonight we stand together
