I'm most tantalized by the skillset of Hunter Shinkaruk. He was probably the top 'fist pump worthy' draft pick that we have had recently for me.

After passing on Valeri Nichushkin which pissed me off, Hunter was a decent compensation for passing over such a talented player. It still hurts, but drafting him made me breathe a sigh of relief.

Fair enough haha. I only posted our recent 6 first round picks stopping short of Schroeder. No pun intended.

For me personally I'm most excited about Virtanen, and Shinkaruk a close second.

Shinkaruk since he will blow everyone's mind in the NHL with his goal scoring ability. Plus he was a projected top 10 pick in one of the best drafts in the last few years. I lost it when he fell to us!
