Surprised Necas lasted so long.

One of the best wingers left and on an ELC so really good value there

Wait, is he a winger?

I drafted him thinking he was a center but if he can play wing that's even better for me.

He was drafted as a center but hasn't played it in the NHL. Could be wrong but pretty sure he is mainly a RW.

Either way great pick.

Perfect. I need a top 6 RW and was gonna snag another but this works even better.

yeah, but it's in yaletown so it's $2000/mo for 730 sf

Gross, rent is so high everywhere. I pay $1600 for 600 sq. ft. in a nice Miami neighborhood. Some places downtown are well over $2000 for studios that are maybe 500 sq. ft.

When I was in Texas my roommates and I had a 3K sq. ft. 4-bedroom 4-bathroom townhome for $2500, ~600ish a piece.

Texas seems like a steal depending on which city it is. Where I live in BC it’s $3,300 for a 5 bedroom, that guy in the basement suite pays $1500 for two of those bedrooms so $1700 for 3 bedrooms.

At the end of the day you can’t really put a price on where you want to live. I like smaller cities so prices will always be cheaper.

I'm not a fan of living downtown in any big city, I'd rather be just outside of it, like a 40-60 minute drive away is good with me. Not a fan of all the road/sidewalk, traffic, noise, the homeless(I feel bad for them, but some of them are dangerous), etc.

But it's all personal preference, I know some people love it just for the convenience of not having to own a car since mostly everything its nearby and transit is everywhere. Plus for people who love going out to clubs and bars every weekend it's super convenient as well.

Tyler Johnson was my mystery player where I was surprised he wasn't gone yet.

I woke up to see this happen a pick before me...
I considered Johnson with one of my picks, but his production has fallen over the past few seasons. Went with Smith, who's more of a shooter and the better two way guy.

Smith's underrated, this is going to sound ridiculous but I feel like his boring name is part of the reason why lol(along with not getting consistent top 6 minutes). He's a top end RW3 and a pretty decent RW2.

Whenever Nashville gives him consistent top 6 minutes, he's a lock for 20+ goals with solid 2-way play. But he seems to get bumped up and down between the 2nd and 3rd line for them.
