G- Jimmy Howard
Conditional draft pick

:wings

Ondrej Roman
Nico Sacchetti

''We're happy to get a good young goaltender in Howard. We're looking to give him a chance to see what he can do at the NHL level.''

Confirmed. With Harding's signing and Larsson on the horizon, Howard is talented but expandable. Roman and Sacchetti are two 'high risk high reward' prospects that we can afford to roll the dice on.

Habs add depht to organization, sign 3.

Montreal Canadiens have added 3 players to their organization. Foward Alexandre Giroux and Krys Kolanos and defenceman Aaron Johnson. Giroux and Kolanos signed a 1 year deal worth 600k$ and Johnson a 1 year deal aswell worth 550k$ and all 3 are two way contract.

''We wanted to add depht as it's a needed thing to have for any organiation. We are happy to get these 3 players. They are all dominant players at the AHL and have NHL experience. We expect them to make our team a competetive one during training camp as some jobs could be open.''

Still looking to add one more defenceman on a 2way contract and maybe a goaltender and the Habs will be officialy done.

Samuelsson will decide by 10pm tonight, looking over the 3 offers now (and you know, doing homework and real life stuff which precedes HF).

3 offers for Savard so far.

One I really like and will likely accept as soon as I find a keeper for Carle

Habs add defenceman Brad Staubitz

670405Staubitz.jpg

Montreal Canadiens have signed unqualified defenceman Brad Staubitz to a 1 year deal worth 700k$ on a 2 way contract.

''Brad proved he can play in the NHL last year and bring a physsical element to the game. He'll look to prove in training camp he deserves a spot and we'll be happy to make room for him if he wins a spot. You need many NHL quality defenceman to go through a long NHL season, we believe we have atleast 10 in our organization.''

I just want to say I am sorry Saku

Haha, I'm kinda over it a little. I've calm down for sure atleast.

Who knows maybe it's going to work. He's still a talented player and with all our UFA, we need to spend our money somewhere. Don't know what will happen tommorow but with our history, we won't sign anybody of importance so again, spend the money somewhere I guess.

Why deal McDonagh though?...now that sucks even if he wasn't progressing as planed.

Oh and Higgins, well you know the 'Scandal' thing....yeah I can't speak but I'm not suprised he is traded....off ice problemS...

The New Jersey Devils are pleased to announce we've filled the last hole in our roster, and are ready for the 09-10 Season.

Signing center Mikael Sameulsson to a 3 year 8.25M contract, paying him 2.75 M per year. We feel Mikael is ready to step into a 2nd line role, and we are excited about him lining up with Patrik Elias and one of Brian Rolston or Niklas Bergfors.

We'd also like to announce the signing of former Detroit Red Wing Tomas Kopecky.

With this signing we'd like to publicly announce the waiving of Jay Pandolfo. We'd like to give Jay a chance to play in the NHL, as he deserves it. So if any team is interested, he will go for next to nothing.

Stars add Koistinen

Ville Koistinen signed a 2 years deal worth 2mil$ total with the Stars.

''We wanted to add a defenceman with puck moving skills and able to support the PP, we did that with Ville.''

Stars still would like to add a good 4th line winger to finish their team.

Confirmed. NJ is a lot like detroit, pedigree of success, smart management. we felt this was the 'best fit' of 3 identical offers from 3 playoff-calibre teams.

The deal also includes an NMC for the first 2.5 seasons, so it provides SAmmy cash + security
