I think Lundqvist would be the better choice to start against Carolina. Call me crazy, but I genuinely trust him in big game situations. Especially if he is well rested and had a strong camp.

That said, neither goalie let up a bad goal this game. I think we are overly critical of goalies as fans. The shots that beat Shesterkin and Lundqvist literally happen to every goalie every game.

Fast is such a better player in the bottom 6 just is. Let him play next to Chytil they’ll cause trouble for a lot of teams
