I don't think the structure is telling Nurse to forget about his entire half of the ice and go puck chasing when Ceci is already on the puck and with decent gap control.
Nurse is like a moth to a light... he just doesn't have to he patience to play his position when he's on the weak side of the ice. To my eyes, 90% of his mistakes are puck fixated when he should be focusing on his man and directing traffic to the forwards coming back so they pick up theirs.
I still have hope, it takes experience, but man alive he's getting old to be learning what it means to be a LEADER on the back end. He's still playing like the highly talented rover that he is, and nothing more.
