I could be wrong, because I don't watch every Leafs game, but from what I've seen, no way in the world should Tavares be on that list.

And whatever position Matthews is in on that list, he'd move up at least one position of he'd just shave that godawful pornstache. I don't know if he's auditioning to be the pizza delivery guy in a porno, or whether he puts on a checked jacket and sells used cars in the off-season, but either way, it's an embarrassment.

I'm starting to think Barkov is just becoming super overrated at this point. I genuinely don't see what he offers that should warrant him being in the top-5 on the same level as Matthews, Draisaitl and MacKinnon. Frankly I think it's pretty questionable to rank Barkov over Bergeron, seeing how Bergeron is just as productive and actually has defensive awards that Barkov doesn't have.

I'd have my top-5 be McDavid, MacKinnon, Draisaitl, Crosby and Matthews in that order. I don't see what Barkov offers to break into that top-5 group.

Lol it's because Leafs fans actually believe that. Not saying they're all stupid but since there are more Leafs fans out there than anyone else they also have the highest amount of idiots out there.

By that logic the Leafs fanbase would also have the most intelligent fans based on the sheer size of the fanbase.

Anyway, it's not ridiculous to argue that Matthews and MacKinnon are close. Not sure why it's such a big issue. People are allowed to have different opinions. It's not like they're so far off that it's as egregious as you're making it out to be.
