Here's the problem with that style of now. 1) They make a ridiculous amount of money for their fluffed regular season stats. They never produce like in that playoffs. 2) They are usually injured because of their style of play. 3) Their a liability in tighter scoring games. It's not as open/high scoring as it was in the 80's.

Letang has been making the same mistakes his whole career. This didn't just start happening out of no where. He's always had a low hockey IQ. He was just a tad faster and use to be able to make up for it a little better. I've gone back and shown Letang making the same mistakes in previous Cup runs that have cost us the last two years. So yeah, I believe they won in spite of him.
