Lol Dyche had Everton defend that lead while using one substitution the entire match. Doucoure looked gassed in the final 15-20 but he kept him on, took Calvert-Lewin off instead.

Mykolenko pocketed Bowen like he's already done to Salah & Saka. Elite defensive fullback, bad with the ball though.

This game again highlighted how much ETH's system depends on both defensively and offensively on Martinez and Shaw being there. Their passing makes midfield's shortcomings to be bypassed and Shaw's link-up play with Rashford gives the latter more option on the left side, which he currently has none and makes him seem far inferior that he is.

Looked like Antony wanted to get sent off.

First half wasn't too bad, United had 3 or 4 good counter opportunities wasted by slow/bad decision making. Hojlund could have gone down twice on his break, first when Stones pulled his shoulder and then over Ederson's leg.

Second half was complete domination, as bad as when Ole got sacked. Onana kept the score down.

Some weird decisions by ten Hag, Evans over Varane and Lindelof at LB over Reguilon for 'tactical reasons'. Bruno on the right albeit narrow. Mount for Amrabat at half time didn't make sense unless Amrabat was injured. He was on a yellow but still not sub worthy.

Varane played 90 vs Copenhage, after his injury and probably in general, there's no sense in expecting him to play two 90 minutes in a week. Reguilon has issues defensively against Copenhagen already and he's also just returned from injury so that's two thing speaking against him starting the game.
